About Us
Central Washington Corn Processors, also known as CWCP, was established in 2002. CWCP built a state of the art facility to meet the demands of a consolidating rail industry in Richland Washington. The facility is located in the Port of Benton off of the City of Richland’s main line, which offers a unique opportunity to be serviced directly by both class one railroads (BNSF and UP). The City of Richland’s Rail line connects with mainline that has access into both UP and BNSF yards, this allows for both Railroads to post rates independent from one another into CWCP. CWCP is situated in the heart of the Pacific North West with semi truck traffic from Interstate 82, Interstate 90, and Interstate 84 converging making CWCP an ideal distribution center for all major commodities. These efficiencies have allows products to reach Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. CWCP is working hard with The Northwest Seaport Alliance and State leaders to bring an inland terminal to the facility to provide opportunities around the world.
